Chapter 1, Page1

         The day was pretty boring. No mobs, no violence, no arguing. Not the type of day suited for Elrox. He was stuck with night watch while Aji and V get to sleep all night. They were probably all cozy at the camp that Aji set up with a quick spell. For the next three hours he stared into darkness while thinking of trying a few flames. Then, as he was about to smack himself back to attention, he thought better of it and fell asleep in the unusually quiet woods.
“He’s asleep!” one of the local villagers whispered. They had been following them, waiting to catch them off guard. Now was there chance. They made their way to where Elrox had fallen asleep. Their leader was almost upon him. Then, one of the followers noticed the roses next to Elrox. He was allergic to roses.“ACHOOOO” he sneezed. This, of course, woke Elrox. “Whaa?” he yawned and focused his puzzled eyes at the mob in front of him. The leader noticed his opportunity and took it. He thrust his pitch fork at Elrox and got him in the heart. He toppled over and lay unmoving in the grass. Almost immediately after the kill the leader toppled over, his body purple. Then Aji stepped out of the shadows. With tears streaming down his cheeks he held up his Poison Immediate spell book and cast another poison spell this time at the allergic one. Aji did not know that there was a blood hawk in the mob so the spell was easily deflected. Then he was counter attacked with a well aimed concussion spell. Aji flew twenty feet and landed hard, unconscious. Then Volaris flew out of the darkness with his spear drawn and gutted three of the fifteen mob people. Unfortunately, none of which was the hawk, who had fled through the woods. Volaris then spun around and thrust and slashed and performed all kinds of chaos on the rest of the mob. When he finished he flew over to Elrox and checked his heartbeat, dead. He knew if he waited for Aji to wake up it would be too late. Besides, he wasn’t even sure Aji knew a resurrection spell. He needed an Evo hospital fast. He heaved the gushing Elrox over his shoulder and flew away to the nearby city where, hopefully, an Evo hospital was located.
